The Future of Containers: Not Just For Shipment
While traditionally containers have been primarily used for fulfilling shipment needs, we are seeing trends towards repurposing these units for a variety of uses. Containers have become popular for portable housing, office spaces, and more. At Lenmark, we have office containers, as well as biodiesel containers and waste water treatment containers, while still carrying traditional shipping containers. Our new and used containers come in a range of sizes from 20 ft to 45 ft in length.
Office Containers
These converted containers act as the perfect solution for portable office spaces. Being 20 ft in length, they are spacious and can hold 5-6 working areas comfortably. Through a 6000 BTU A/C unit and 2000 watt baseboard heater, your employees will be able to work comfortably.
BioDiesel Containers
This portable production solution takes renewable sources to create a cleaner alternative to diesel fuel for diesel engines. By taking the form of a shipping container, communities and businesses are able to produce fuel at a more proportionate scale. This cuts costs and provides independence, while lowering carbon dioxide emissions.Source: BioDiesel Magazine
Waste Water Treatment Plant Containers
The purpose of this container type is to take surface discharge or “waste water”, clean it, and then feed it through a boiler. Once the newly cleaned water is boiled it will be pumped out under pressure to a surge tank, which depressurizes as steam. As much as 7 metric tons per hour of hydrocarbon will be recovered from the surface water, once all contaminants are removed or reduced.
What To Do With Remaining Water
- Recycle the water back to the rig, location, or facility from where it was originally taken from.
- Dispose of the water through the unit by atomization and evaporation.
Mini Shipping Containers
These are designed for compact purposes or smaller loads and are up to 9 ft in length and 8 ft in height. They are easily stackable, and allow for a more efficient use of space for shipping items. We carry both new and used mini containers, and typically have several in stock.
Refrigerated and Non Refrigerated Shipping Containers
Our refrigerated containers have either working or non-working refers, depending on the SKU. Our non-refrigerated units may have additional features such as insulation, shelving, and electrical. Our shipping containers are typically either in good order or are new, and can be shipped globally. Our Premium High-Cubes are up to 40 ft in length and 9.5 ft in height, and have maximum payloads of up to 63,000 lbs.
