Refiner Features:

  • Large diameter inlet allows for reverse flow of steam.
  • Front radial bearing is located close to the rotor, minimizing deflection and vibration.
  • Heavy rigid cast ductile iron frame. Cast iron has natural damping characteristics which absorbs vibrations.
  • Backing plate mounting of stator plate segments speeds up plate change.
  • Plate positioning system is rigid and maintenance-free.
  • Plate protection system virtually eliminates clashes.
  • Proven, high-capacity 115 ton thrust bearings.
